Booking & cancellation

Check these points before accepting a quotation or paying a provider.

Written confirmation first

Request the legal provider name, contacts, itinerary, dates, guest numbers and ages, guide language, pickup, inclusions, exclusions, total price and payment/cancellation terms. Confirm access and mobility needs explicitly. A City Pass planning card is not an admission ticket; programme access depends on confirmed arrangements.

Prices and payments

MAD is the reference currency. Converted prices and planning estimates are approximate; confirm the final price, taxes, mandatory fees, optional extras and payment recipient in writing. Do not send card details by email or pay an unverified personal account. A request reference or “payment required” message is not a payment receipt.

Cancellation, changes and refunds

The confirmed contract must specify deadlines, charges, no-show rules and what happens if a provider cancels or weather makes the activity unsafe. Ask before accepting; there is no universal cancellation fee on this portal. Notify the contracting provider promptly and keep records. Statutory refund or compensation rights remain unaffected; a refund is not promised merely by submitting a request.

Withdrawal rights depend on the contract

Where EU distance-selling rules apply, a cooling-off right may exist, commonly 14 days. Exceptions can apply to accommodation, vehicle hire, catering and leisure services for specific dates, and to certain digital content after the legally required express agreement. Not every travel service is automatically exempt. The seller must provide the applicable withdrawal information before you commit. This page is not a blanket waiver.

Combined travel programmes

A programme combining different travel services can fall under package-travel or linked-travel rules depending on how it is sold. Labels such as “City Pass” do not remove those rules. Before any qualifying sale, the organiser must provide the required contract information, responsibilities and insolvency protection where applicable. Do not treat a planning package as proof of those arrangements.

Consumer protection in Morocco

Moroccan Law 31-08 protects consumer information, choice and economic interests. Some qualifying contracts carry a seven-day withdrawal right, with conditions and exceptions. The applicable rules depend on the contract, service and jurisdiction. Ask for the provider’s identity, total price, cancellation and withdrawal terms before accepting an offer. You may seek guidance from the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Commerce or consumer associations.
